01 Approve reviews

“Reviews” under Customers, on the Growth plan and up, holds every review shoppers send. Only the reviews you approve appear on your store.

“Verified purchase” means the reviewer bought that product: they were signed in to an account that ordered it, or came from your review-request email.

Under “Pending”, press “Approve” to publish a review or “Reject” to keep it off your store. Each moves to its own tab.

Press “Reply”, type “Your public reply” and press “Post reply”. Shoppers see it under the review, headed Reply from Maple & Brass. One reply per review.

To get more reviews in the first place, send review requests after delivery, taught in the Grow module. A review can also arrive without being asked for, and it waits here too.

02 Back-in-stock waitlist

When a product sells out, its page offers a Notify me box. “Waitlist”, on the Growth plan and up, lists each product people wait for, with “Current stock”, “Waiting” and “Notified”.

You never send anything by hand. When the product is live and back in stock, however it came back, everyone waiting is emailed within a few minutes from your store’s own address.

A product with sizes or colours has one waitlist: when any of them is back, everyone waiting for it hears. A draft product emails nobody until it is live.

“Restock” opens Inventory. Each person is emailed once per sign-up, and the counts move from “Waiting” to “Notified”.

03 Wishlist alerts

Signed-in shoppers can ask for emails about their wishlist by ticking “Email me about my wishlist” at the top of it. The box starts unticked, and nothing goes without it.

They hear when a saved item can be bought again, or costs at least 5% and 0.50 less. At most one email a day, in their language, only for products you sell there.

Alerts go only from your own email domain, with your store’s postal address in the footer. Without that address, the box is not offered at all.

Each email has a one-click unsubscribe. A tick is recorded with the exact sentence the shopper saw, the time and their IP address, in your “Audit log”.

04 Set up a gift registry

On the Scale plan, “Gift registry” lists registries you set up for customers. Press “New registry”, enter the “Owner name” and “Owner email”, the “Event” and its date.

Press “Create registry”, then “Add item”: find the product, set how many are wanted, and for a product with sizes or colours, choose the “Option” they want.

05 Share it, and what guests see

“Copy link” copies the registry’s address on your store, for the owner to pass on. It appears once your store is live; until then you can still set everything up.

Guests need no account. They buy a gift through your normal checkout, and once the order is paid it counts as bought, never more than the number wanted.

A guest who bought a gift somewhere else can press Bought it elsewhere: one unit counts as bought, and the owner is emailed a note that it is not an order.

A gift with every unit bought shows “Fulfilled”. Next: reaching shoppers by push, text and shopping feeds.
